Empresas de software desenvolvem formato comum de ficheiro para QI

A Agência Inglesa para as TIC na Educação (BECTA) tem vindo a negociar com as empresas de desenvolvimento de software para Quadros Interactivos com o intuito de conceberem um formato de aplicação comum às várias marcas. Esta medida visa promover a partilha de conteúdos e a sua utilização nos diferentes modelos de QI.

“The government’s education technology agency, is working with interactive whiteboard suppliers to tackle the barriers that prevent lessons being shared between and within schools and colleges. Interactive whiteboards have revolutionised teaching in classrooms worldwide and research shows that when used well they have a significant impact on results. But with the rapid growth in use and in the number of different suppliers, issues have arisen over the creation of content that can be read on all systems. The lack of a common file format prevents a user from developing content on one platform and presenting it on another”.
